Where every number comes from

  1. Fetch the PDFWe download Fidelity’s public list “ETFs Subject to Service Fee_September 2026” (25 pages) and record its SHA-256, so any edit is detected byte for byte.
  2. Parse, don’t retypeA script reads each tranche heading and every ticker + fund name row. 437 rows parsed; unit tests pin the count, the tranches and known tickers.
  3. Diff each editionThe refresh script compares a new PDF with the last one and reports added and removed tickers and date changes.
  4. Fee rule5% of the purchase amount, capped at $100 per trade, purchases only. The cap binds from $2,000.
  5. Everything runs locallyTicker and portfolio checks run in your browser against a static copy. Nothing you paste is uploaded.
